Synopsis
Geothermal: The energy that powers a planet...the energy to power a nation! Heat energy within the ground is a 24/7 resource for electrical power generation with a capacity factor of 95% and above. This energy is produced where it is close to the surface of the earth and it can be produced from old oil and gas wells drilled deep into sedimentary basins, where temperatures have melted drilling tools. Geothermal energy can also heat and cool your home through ground source heat pumps. And this heat can be used in aquiculture, nurseries, food dehydration, cement curing, and numerous other industries where low to moderate temperatures are needed in various industrial processes. This symposium is open to the use of geothermal energy in all of its applications. Geothermal is…The Energy Under Our Feet!
