Gerald is Acquisition Director in the Strategic Planning Group at Siemens Corporation, having previously served as Managing Director of Siemens Acceleration USA , the early stage VC arm of Siemens Communications. From 1997-2003, Gerald worked at 3i in London and Palo Alto, where he invested in a number of technology businesses, including Raw Communications. Gerald was part of the launch team at ZDNet in 1995, and was Sales Manager for Yahoo! UK, when it launched in 1996. Previously, he was an executive at Ziff-Davis and EMAP Plc. Gerald holds an Honors Degree in History, an MBA from Cranfield University, and attended Stanford University’s Leading Organizational Change program. Gerald also served as Chairman of the NVCA’s Corporate Venture Group from 2006-2007 and is a member of the Telecommunications Advisory Board, at the University of San Francisco’s School of Business.
